Property management company Nordblom wanted to create an outdoor space in one of their business parks in Burlington, MA (Northwest Park), so employees would feel excited about coming to the office. Northwest Park is a mixed-use development center that is home to both businesses and residential apartments. Businesses at the park range from a variety of industries, from retail to technology, healthcare, and real estate. We reimagined the office park’s greenspace and patio, converting some of the area into a pickleball complex (an outdoor facility with multiple pickleball courts), and then added lights, fencing, and pickleball nets to the design to create a safe experience. Now, the pickleball complex serves the Northwest Park community, becoming a popular venue where people can socialize and stay active.
