The Yawkey Boys and Girls Club of Roxbury encourages youth to experience the great outdoors and adopt healthy habits. While the club provides a wide selection of sport courts for visitors, they were ready for a modern upgrade. Funded by the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation (Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation), we transformed one of their courts into a state-of-the-art basketball court surface. This involved repairing the existing asphalt, installing new hoops, and adding our high-performance PowerGame Plus athletic surfacing so all kids can play safely and have fun. The court design also includes a Kobe Bryant memorial mural on the side of the building as well as multiple logos on the court. The Roxbury community celebrated the grand opening of the court with Boston Celtics player Jaylen Brown.
